Oh the humanity!! Will installing any device suggested by Water4Gas in your vehicle’s engine turn your automobile into a economy-sized toasted zeppelin? Well to date no such instances have been reported….
Hydrogen is not something that makes it into the conversations of the average person. Hydrogen is used as rocket fuel and made one heck of a blaze when the Hindenburg went up. Most folks instantly equate hydrogen with hydrogen bombs which doesn’t give them a warm fuzzy idea about using it for fuel. A public relations handling needs to be done if we ever intend to introduce hydrogen as the gasoline of the future.
Any fuel has as its key characteristic that it is combustible and because of this any fuel can be dangerous. However, there are many characteristics of hydrogen that make it very different from other fuels, some good some not. First, it is extremely light. If it were to escape in an accident there is a high probability that it would harmlessly disperseto the surroundings very quickly. So unlike gasoline it would not pool up and wait to be ignited under a damaged vehicle. Another unique property is it burns very fast. The flame spreads through it at a very high velocity, which makes it very hard to explode. Hydrogen can also burn in air with concentrations between 4% and 74%, while gasoline is flammable with concentrations of 1.5% to 7.6%.
There are other characterisitics of hydrogen which also need to be factored in. The flame is nearly invisible in daylight, which could be a problem if an accident occurred. There is no odor that emanates from hydrogen, but there is a work around on that one a scent could be added to the hydrogen so as to alert in the event of a leak,. If liquid hydrogen is being used it will be very cold and could cold burn people who touch it.
I guess we should mention a bit more about the Hindenburg since it is one of the most notorious events associated with hydrogen gas. This disaster is undoubtedly unique since it made a large impact upon the public, the whole world knows about it. Somewhat shockingly though, more recent investigations have shown that the fire was not caused by the hydrogen at all. The paint on the craft was made with material including aluminum powder and iron oxide. These materials are essentially the components of the space shuttle's solid rocket booster. The Hindenburg did not blow up, but burned furiously over over a very short period. Also, many of the victims died from falling out of the craft, and not from the fire.
And aside from all of this, it is important to realize that the Water4Gas systems are not like these buses that move around the city with hydrogen gas tanks ready to explode.
Truthfully Water4Gas is not the same as and is majorly safer than installing natural-gas tanks in automobiles and buses!!! That's lunacy! While these Hydrogen vehicles are new in the market they're kind of ok, but how about 10-15 years up the road? They'll be worn and you will have them exploding every day. One Los Angeles bus has already blown up while refueling. Fortunately the hired worker that was supposed to be inside it cleaning had been called away. The explosion broke the bus into two pieces. Since these hydrogen buses are so flammable they also become a target for terrorists. We don't need to be helping them do THEIR job do we?
To be clear, HHO is combustible - AFTER IT ENTERS THE ENGINE - which is what that mechanic missed. Because the Water4Gas enhanced engine does NOT store hydrogen when installed properly, so there is no fire hazard which could be caused by hydrogen storage.
So again, don't listen to "experts" who don't understand the system frighten you or warn you about non-existent hazards. Water4Gas technology cools down the engine and this makes your vehicle MORE safe.
