RECOMMENDATIONS
Fill gas when the weather is coolest – morning or evening. At these hours, fuel is thickest. Keep in mind that gas station pumps measure volumes of gas, not thickness of gasoline concentration. You pay according to the volume
Secure that gas cap. Gasoline will evaporate from your car's gas tank and a loose cap will only contribute to this process. So be sure to fully close that gas cap each time you fuel up your car.
Keep your vehicle tuned up. Tuning a vehicle that is out of tune or has failed an emissions test can increase gas mileage by around 4 percent which is not a huge savings really.. But you should watch out for burnt spark plugs. A misfiring spark plug can impede a vehicle's gasoline efficiency by up to 30 percent.
Make sureyour air filter is clean. Monitor it closely. When the automobile’s engine clogs up with dirt, dirt and bugs, it causes your engine to exert more effort and your vehicle becomes less gas efficient. Replacing a air filter that is clogged could increase gasoline mileage by as much as 10 percent. It makes sense to ensure you have your engine’s air filter inspected at each oil change.
Your engine is just like your body. The better it breathes, the better it runs and uses less gas. You wouldn't run a marathon wrapped in a blanket while trying to breathe through a bath towel caked with dirt and bugs would you?
Lastly, don't skimp on any engine maintenance. Be serious about engine care. Your vehicle's efficiency depends on it and your family's safety does too.
Many solutions are just plain contradictory or wrong... Then I found one article that recommends to keep your vehicle windows open for city driving but to use the AC while on the parkways because having the windows open while driving at high speeds causes drag which reduces fuel economy. Who's right? Who's wrong? Who vehiclees? Does it increase gasoline mileage? No, probably not!
The best genuine solution to increase your gasoline mileage, with gas prices in the $3-4.50 range up and down over the last year or so is to sever your umbilical cord... the one that chains you to the gas pump and shed your chains of slavery to the oil companies and....
Convert to a hydrogen engine!
How would it be you never had to buy another gallon of gasoline again?
Convert your gasoline engine to hydrogen.
If you do a partial (hybrid) conversion then you should see improved gasoline mileage of up to 30% maybe more.
If you do this and also add acetone to your gas tank (which will save you another 25% or so) then you will have improved your gasoline mileage by a combined 50%! Put in about 2-3 ounces of acetone per 10 gallons of gasoline and less gasoline will vaporize and you increase your gasoline mileage by 25% or more.
If you do a full gas to hydrogen conversion then you will have pumped your last gallon of gasoline for the rest of your life. It is very simple to do, costs hardly anything, safeguards the environment and you will enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that you are conserving resources instead of consuming more than your fair share.
