Auto glass strengthens the vehicle
Does this sound a bit awkward? Glass providing strength to a solid body, how is this possible? This actually happens in case of auto glass. Whenever your car turns upside down there is a major chance of the roof to come down and crush the persons sitting in. If the auto glass is strong, it can have the resisting capacity to hold the roof in the opposition.
The right installation of the auto glass or the windshield gives the vehicle a proper control over the energy and speed. When there is a crash or collision it is either the windshield that acts as the protector and if that’s a defective one can cause fatality.
Right position of the passenger inside the vehicle
The auto glass acts as the protective shield. Sometimes the passenger inside a car lets out his/her body that becomes the reason of an accident. But many a time such accidents can be prohibited if the passenger sits within the confinement of the space inside the vehicle and put on the sit belts. The auto glass actually defines the position of the passenger and this in many ways prevents accidents to take place. Even the man in the driver’s position can have a safer grip on the steering with proper covering by the auto glass.
Auto glass’ role in air bag function
The air bag fails to work exactly when needed without proper installation of the auto glass. As a result the crash of the vehicle that could have been prevented turns into a fatal one. In fact the auto glass holds the airbag placed on the side of the passenger’s seat. When the auto glass itself is not in a firm position, how can it provide with the adequate support for the air bag? In return some poor passengers fall prey of the deadly accident.
Thus buy a car but always see to that the quality and installation of auto glass is of top class. While you replace the auto glass, make sure you are using the same brand for perfect placing.
